One powerful stress reduction technique is to use pure, healthy essential oils for relaxation. I first starting using this in my energy working practice and saw wonderful results.
This led to me custom blending for my students and clients. Soon I was having folks who were not my clients here about me and ask to have something blended for them. So, a few years later, I have many blends that I have come up with for many, many different reasons.
I will blend a custom blend for you, if you like, or you may try one that has already been blended for whatever purpose you would like to have one for.
I will begin adding descriptions of some of the blends as time goes by, but there are far too many to list here, so let's talk about your unique situation. Email me!
I have dozens of blends available. Here is one of the powerful blends I have for winter.
The nostrils are attached to the limbic system; a part of the brain. The limbic system influences the nervous system and hormones and controls human emotions. When essential oil molecules are inhaled, messages are sent to the limbic system where heart rate, blood pressure, stress level, memory, breathing, digestion, and the immune system are all effected. The use of aromatherapy with massage also stimulates olfactory memory allowing the massage client to associate relaxation and healing with fragrance.
Here are some of the single oils that I have available for you. I have dozens, so if you are looking for a particular one--just ask. Many of the blends are going to be built around these two awesome oils.
Orange--the Peace oil.
Lavender--the universal healer.
Below you will find lists of single oils and blends. Give it a look and then email me with any questions you might have.
This is my official list for the coming year, but I have many more blends. Email me about any that you might be interested in.
Living Springs Essential Oil Blends 2010
Ease & Relieve Eases the mind and relieves the muscles. Fondly nicknamed "The Yoga Oil" by one of my yoga teachers, so spritzing on your yoga mat will clean the mat while getting you prepared for your practice. A pleasing blend of Clary Sage and Peppermint, it's a great oil if you've been exercising or had emotional ups and downs. Created to ease and relieve the mind and the body at the same time.
How the oils work together-- Peppermint relieves muscular strain from exercise or working too hard. On an emotional level, peppermint stimulates the mind and can counter shock, mental fogginess and lack of focus. It has a dualistic action which can stimulate the mind and calm the nerves which makes it ideal as a physical tonic and an emotional soother.
The other oil in this powerful blend, Clary Sage, banishes grief and is excellent for women's issues. The lovely scent has been known to bring about a sense of calmness and confidence in stressful situations with it's uplifting effect on the mind. Clary Sage regenerates energy and inspires both the mind and spirit. It can induce a kind of euphoria, or a feeling of elation. It is thought to also encourage vivid dreams and enhances creative work. Put these two oils together and you can see how you would have a powerful oil to work on various levels.
Immunity This is a smell-good version of the highly popular THIEVES blend. My twist on it is to make it less medicinal than the original which smells so wonderful that you can wear it as a cologne. Especially good during the winter, or when you are needing to be around people who are under the weather, this is the ultimate protection against germs while enhancing your immune system. One of my best sellers because it is so useful to spritz on your office doorknob or your hands before shaking hands at work or in social situations. You'll find a multitude of uses for this best seller!
Peaceful Sleep A wonderful way to drift off to slumber. Marjoram, Lavender and Litsea relax you and let you drift off on fragrant clouds of relaxation. Put a drop on your pillowcase, diffuse while you sleep or put a bit on your feet or hands and breathe in the wonderful relaxing scent before laying down. Heavenly!
Pep Up This blend of Peppermint and Lime is designed to uplift you mentally and give you more emotional stability. Use when you are a bit depressed, overwhelmed or anxious and you need to get yourself back under control and attend to the things in your world. It is wonderfully uplifting when used as an air spritz, as a cologne or a drop on the hands in lotion before going out. With the Peppermint in it be sure and avoid getting it close to your eyes or lips or you might feel slight burning..
Muscle Relief What a wonderful, deep working massage oil to give you all over muscle relief while easing the mind at the same time. Also good for those with arthritis or fibro. Tangerine and Marjoram will leave you ready to take on the world. And since it is a soothing oil you can spritz around the home, office or car just to ease your mind. The Marjoram is anti-anxiety,soothing and strengthening--all at the same time.
Sinus Relief Eucalyptus and Peppermint clear while Lavender heals. Oh, the relief!
Infinite Love A Sweet Orange mixed with a soothing, warming Ginger centers you in your heart. This is a great everyday oil to bring peace into your life.
Revive This is an oil that brings you back to life emotionally. Physically it gets rid of congestion or a headache. Diffuse, use a small amount with lotion or just inhale. Eucalyptus, Lavender, Peppermint and Sweet Orange combine to make a powerful statement. It might be a little strong for use on some skin, so use in ample oil or lotion if using in a massage or as a hand lotion.
Monster Tamer Banish the grumpies, the grouchies, whatever has you or your children acting up! I made this especially for my friends who have their grand-kids over and need a bit of help with the extra energy in the house. Use as a spritz or hand lotion before, during and after they come over.
Dance Until Dawn What a nice blend to center, cheer and uplift you. You just might feel like dancing until dawn (so you might want to use it early in the day!) Tangerine and Litsea are both great for the skin, so besides spritzing the air with it, be sure and try it for a massage or in hand lotion when you want to be calm and centered. The Peppermint will give you an extra lift and help your muscles if you use it in oil and put on the skin.
